Fashion Attracts

A fashion icon is someone who is admired and looked upon as a great example of what is hot and fashionable that a lot of people follow. They usually will do anything and will wear anything to maintain the title that they hold. An avid admirer will always perfectly copy and imitate whatever their favorite celebrity is wearing even if she does not have the size, shape or budget for it.

For instance, if your fashion idol is a size 8, and you are a size 18, then what might look good on your idol may not look good on you.

In the UK, Victoria Beckham or Posh Spice, the wife of David Beckham is considered as the ultimate fashion icon, followed by Kate Moss, and Nicole Appleton. Undoubtedly, Victoria Beckham is truly hip, trendy, stylish and chic, which has wardrobe designed by expensive designers from Italy, London and Paris. But, needless to say, her back balance can pay for all of that. Most girls who try to copy Victoria Beckham end up with a huge debt on their name.

When you copy an outfit that you followed from your fashion icon, remember that it is just a second hand idea, because your fashion icon is the first one to wear it. Just remember that fashion icons are just regular people like you and me. They also read magazines and they shop in their favorite boutiques for clothes and accessories to wear. You have a chance to put one over them. Be creative and make your own designs. If you do not know how to sew, find one who can do it for you. Then, hopefully a fashion designer will notice it or friends and family will. Just have fun creating and let your personality shine through.
